COURSES
THE ROTHSCHILDS OF WADDESDON MANOR

Tutor: Bernard Tattersfield

Waddesdon Manor, in its landscaped park, is one of the greatest gifts ever received by the National Trust;  it was given to the National Trust by the Rothschilds.  The house and unique gardens were created in late 1900, for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, to house his world famous collection of furniture, carpets, paintings and china.

LIFE BEGINS

Tutors: Liz Priest & Karen Hunt

Do you feel you need to update your image?  Have fun looking at all the different aspects of hair and make-up, colours, exercise, diet, getting back into good habits .... and more.

ENCAUSTIC ART

Tutor: Sally Brown

Encaustic art is a simple art form using travel irons and coloured beeswax to produce unique pictures.  No drawing skills are required so everyone can be creative using this ancient painting method.

SUPER BOWLS AND PRETTY PLATES

Tutor: Susan Bridger

Gourmet cooking within easy reach of every cook.  Exciting demonstrations and lots of practical work combined with delicious tastings to ensure an unforgettable experience.

CHRISTMAS REVUE

Tutors: Christine Sheen & Jacqueline Tevlin

A fabulous fun-filled course of Christmas songs, choruses and snatches, just right for the festive season, affording the unique opportunity of acting with Jacqueline Tevlin.

EXPLORING QUIET CORNERS OF THE COTSWOLDS

Tutor: David Fielding

Field Assistant: Christine Booth

Quiet scenic walks off the tourist trail, exploring the valley of the river Leach and its villages.  Picnic lunches will be taken near a friendly hostelry.  Distance of 5 - 6 miles
