SERVICES TO MEMBERS

PUBLICISING YOUR EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

For the past couple of years each WI and Group within the Lincolnshire North Federation has had the opportunity to publicise its activities and provide information of use to members and non-members on the website.

Each WI has its own page, which contains all sorts of helpful details of contacts, number of members, and meeting locations and times, etc.  There is no limit on space so institutes can send the Webmaster as much information as they wish.

Some like to include their:

Annual Programme
Monthly Meeting Reports
 Forthcoming Events
Photographs

A similar service can be provided according to requirements for any Groups within the Federation.  These might include:

Forthcoming Events:
 (Spring and Autumn Meetings, etc.)
Reports of Group Meetings
Reports from Committees
Minutes
Agendum
Notices of Committee Meetings
Contact Details
Reminders and Other Notices

The stated requirement of the LNFWI for a compact website and the necessity to operate budget restraints would indicate its being unable to allocate either web space or costly personnel time to publicising events for every WI and Group within the Federation.

Should this prove to be the case, the Somercotes Group of WIs is happy to continue providing these services cost free to the Federation and its members.  We take the view that the more we can put into our collective shop windows the better we are able to demonstrate the best of what the WI has to offer.  With such an active Federation whose committees' hard work successfully provides a wide range of opportunities for members, we are proud to light up our shop window on its behalf!
