To All WIs in the Lincolnshire North Federation of Women’s Institutes

The Federation’s own web site has now been launched. It is hoped it will become a useful resource for members across the County and also an encouragement for non-members to join our organisation and enjoy what we have to offer. We have many ideas that we should like to incorporate as time goes by, and we welcome your suggestions, too.

Finding You

The first of these ideas is to make it easier for speakers and visitors to find you! Please use the tear-off portion below to advise us of the full address, including the Post Code, of where you hold your meetings. The Post Code is of particular importance as more and more people are using GPS (Sat Navs) in their daily travels; the Royal Mail web site (www.royalmail.com) is a useful resource if you are unsure of a Post Code.

Keeping in Touch

Is there someone on your committee, or another member, who is willing to act as Liaison/Contact Officer for your WI and who would allow her e-mail address to be published on the site? If so, please obtain her permission and provide her details in the relevant spaces below. The e-mail address you give, or the name and telephone number, will appear on the WIs page of the web site, which is where details of all WIs within the LNFWI are listed.

Keeping Up To Date

When you have had a chance to explore the web site, which we hope you enjoy, perhaps you would inform Federation Office of any changes which need to be made to your WI’s entry.

Your Notice Board

If you would like to publicise your WI events on the web site then the NOTICE BOARD page is just the place to do it. This page is for your use only; official LNFWI organised activities are shown on the EVENTS page. Send details of your events to the Webmaster, (e-mail: webmaster@wi-lincsnorth.org.uk), not forgetting to say whether they are open to all or just for members only.
