Resolution Process 2009/10
1. WI Life Short Listed Resolutions. Short paragraphs were omitted from the magazine in error and NFWI wishes to assist federations with disseminating the full resolutions notes that were previously emailed to federation offices. The notes are available to download from the NFWI website or as hard copies to be sent to members on request. 2. Wording of short listed resolution No. 3: Reduction in Impact of Flooding.. The words "and land-owners" were omitted in error from WI Life magazine but the omission does not alter the meaning of the resolution in any way.
3. Wording of short listed resolution No. 6: Access to the Disability Living Allowance Mobility Component for Children under Three Years of Age. The words "as full a life as possible" were omitted from the end of the wording of the resolution in documents emailed to federations in October. The omission does not change the meaning of the resolution in any way. The wording as it appears in the November issue of WI Life is correct.
