an essential part of a WI's recruitment kit. If prospective members
receive a programme that is lively, vibrant and full of interesting
information as well as containing a great and varied programme of events,
they are more likely to join a WI.
Programmes are a simple and effective form of
advertising and promotion that can bring in new members and make sure
those who are already members continue to be.

Attractive and Appealing
Of Useful Size
Presented with an Eye-catching and Appealing Layout
- to make members feel welcome and want
to learn more about the WI and its activities.
Full of Information: about WI events,
workshops, classes, outings and reading and walking groups, etc.
An Information Source: about the WI, its
federation, the NFWI and Denman College
And that .......
Contain Notable Dates:
for example, of its federation, NFWI, Denman College
and local events.
FORMAT
It may be produced in any medium, size
and style.
It may be computer generated, hand generated or typewritten.
It must be your WI's actual 2010 programme.
PROCEDURE
Each WI is required to send 3 copies of the programme, together with a
completed WI Entry Form to their Federation Secretary no
later than:
31st March 2010
Federations are then asked to judge
entries and to choose up to 2 to go forward to NFWI for judging.
