| The Million
Women Rise walk in support of Violence Against Women 2010 will take place
on Saturday 6th March 2010 to mark International Women's Day.
The event brings together women from across the
UK to break the silence surrounding violence against women and to demand
more support and justice for victims.
It is a great opportunity to meet with other
women involved in the No More Violence Against Women campaign and to share
success stories and campaigning tips.
NFWI will also be hosting a stall at the rally where the Map of Gaps quilt
will be on display. If you were kind enough to contribute a
square, this will be a great opportunity to see it up close.
