CRAFT WORKSHOP DAY
A day of
craft classes has been arranged by Conningsby & Tattershall WI
to which Somercotes Group members and others have been invited.
SATURDAY 10th APRIL 2010
TATTERSHALL VILLAGE HALL

The day will begin
with coffee and biscuits on arrival at 10 am.
The morning session will start at 10.30 am.
Lunch will be
provided.
The afternoon
session will finish around 3.30 pm.

CARD MAKING |
Bridgette
Gooding |
Bridgette
loves paper crafting and regularly runs classes, working to a very
high standard. Examples of her work can be seen at
www.bridgette@cherryhillcrafts.co.uk Students can hope to
achieve 5 to 6 cards and a 3D project during the day. |

FLOWER ARANGING |
Zara Farrant |
Zara is a very
experienced flower arranger and runs local classes. You will
produce several spring arrangements. Zeta will provide a
comprehensive list of all your requirements, including the flowers
which you will bring with you, so there will be no additional cost. |

FABRIC BOXES |
Val Letts |
Val is very
well known to WI members, having run regular classes for LNFWI.
Fabric boxes have been part of Val's life for 12 years. She
uses beautiful fabrics and make her classes fun. Kits will
cost £3 each; you can opt to bring your own fabric or to buy
some from Val on the day. |

PAINTING |
Caroline
Johnson |
Caroline has
proved to be a popular demonstrator at WI meetings. She
believes everyone can produce a painting with no previous
experience. This course is aimed at beginners wanting to 'have
a go'. Students will learn basic water colour techniques in
the morning and use acrylics in the afternoon. Materials will
cost £5.50. |

BEADING |
Sylvia
Ford-Brown |
Sylvia is a
long standing member of the WI with experience of many crafts, a
favourite being beading. During the day you will make a
necklace, a bracelet and some earrings. Kits to make the 3
items will be available to purchase on the day at approximately £10. |
