Guest Speaker:

MIRIAM MARGOLYES, OBE.

Miriam Margolyes has many major film and TV credits, including Ladies in Lavender, Little Show of Horrors, Blackadder, Freud and Vanity Fair.

Among the many awards she has received are:

A BAFTA in 1993 for Best Supporting Actress in The Age of Innocence.

A Sony Radio Award for Best Actress in 1993 for The Queen and I.

The Talkies Performer of the Year 1997 for Oliver Twist.

The Prix Jeunesse Best Children's Programme (0 - 6 fiction) 2000 for The First Snow in Winter.

Her voice is internationally acclaimed as the most accomplished female voice in Britain; she ahs been heard on many audio books and TV documentaries and she is currently playing Mama in the Dolmio TV commercial.

She plays Professor Pomona in Harry Potter and has recently appeared on ITV's Loose Women.

Miriam says that being overweight and unconventional was the making of her.

No late applications for car park tickets can be accepted after this Date due to ELDC deadlines.

However, Council Meeting tickets may be available after this date, space permitting.

Each WI is entitled to send one delegate free of charge.

Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis

so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Please check with the Federation Office prior to booking if you have any special medical, dietary or mobility requirements. All costs are non-refundable.

Please remember to list everyone attending and enclose SAE.
